Aperitif’s Gelato Fleur look so aesthetically pleasing that I just wanted to stare at it and not eat it… until I had to because, well, gelato melts.
Aperitif means “appetizers” usually taken before a drink to stimulate your taste buds.
I’ve been seeing their brand for a long time (usually in Instagram) as they are most famous for their visually appealing gourmet graze boxes usually ordered online.
Imagine: you in a flat in Paris with a beautiful view of the Eiffel tower, having wine with your friends.

So when I heard that they opened a physical store on the 4th Flr of SM Aura, I just had to drop by.
The store highlights their pastries, pastas, and gelatos more this time. They also have sustainable products for sale, though. Like this set of stainless straws for Php850.
But I was there for the gelato, man.
We ordered a Wild Berries Gelato Cup, a Vanilla Gelato Cup, and a Vanilla Gelato Fleur with macaron add-on.
Let’s get right to it.
Taste and Serving:
They’re good, period.
The Wildberries Gelato is bursting with flavour. The Vanilla Gelato is creamy as hell. These gelato cups are also topped with chocolate slices.
It may look like an ice cream good for one person when you see it, but having tried it, this is a lot of ice cream in one sitting in my opinion.
I’d say share a gelato cup with someone.
I love the look of their store. It’s like a store you’d see on movies depicting Parisian streets.
They have a few seats by the window but the place is mostly designed for takeout. It can only accommodate a few number of people at a time.
These gelatos are kinda on the pricey end. But if you’re a person who takes ice cream seriously like I do and enjoys Cold Stone or Baskin Robbins, then Aperitif is something you should try.

Could be improved:
I’ve worked in customer service for a long time so I kinda always assume that a business’ social media is another way of contacting customer service.
I PM’ed them on Facebook asking what their gelato best sellers were as I couldn’t find any realted article on Google, but their page didn’t reply (#seenzoned, ouch). In my opinion, businesses should value their customer’s experience and although, I liked my experience at their store, I’d always also remember that they snubbed my PM. lol
The staff at the store were great though, and answered my questions.
Best sellers, as per their staff, are Matcha and Dark Chocolate.
Is it worth it?
I admit it’s a bit pricey for ice cream but I’d still say yes. Try it atleast once. I’d say it’s the experience you are paying for. The French ambiance of their store, the effort it takes to make that gelato aesthetically pleasing, and the quality and flavour of the gelatos make the price worth it.
Always down for gelato,
